Giant Unimed Christmas Tree Will Be an Attraction on Sunday | SOS Unimed

Under the slogan “It’s time to nurture a better new year”, next Sunday, 28, the Unimed Teresina system turns on the lights in the Christmas space in the parking lot of Unimed Ilhotas Hospital, near the Juscelino Kubitschek bridge.

The lights of a tree about 20 meters high will be lit at 6 pm, with Teresina Symphony Orchestra performing and Santa Claus in attendance.

This attraction has a solidarity goal: to collect non-perishable food for those who need it most. Therefore, the site has a collection point for donations from those who visit the place.

According to the President of Unimed Teresina, Dr. Emmanuel Fontes, the topic of care is very close to Christmas: “This year we showed more interest in people, because the epidemic is not over yet. Unimed and Intermed remain committed to the goal of taking care of people’s health. But people have many other needs and we Solidarity is also needed. Therefore, we want to inspire everyone to take care of each other, in every possible way, for a better New Year, which is approaching. This is the meaning of Christmas and this event for us “- he stressed.
