a Konami announced that eFootball, formerly PES, has partnered with Major League Soccer Players Association (MLSPA) To obtain the full rights to use MLS teams in the game, including team names, numbers and logos.
Along with the announcement, eFootball has named 11 new MLSPA ambassadors, including players Efrain Alvarez, Edward Atoesta, Caden Clarke, Kid Coyle, Jonathan dos Santos, Jesus Ferreira, Tony Leon, Joseph Martinez, Andrés Perea, Christian Roldan and Yverson Sotildo.
An ad video has been released showing how 3D models are captured for each player. Throughout the video, all 11 eFootball ambassadors who came from MLSPA are shown – including memorials and profile captures.
eFootball is the new game that replaces the old PES, as the game will now have annual updates instead of releasing a new game every year. Thus, players will only be able to update with new content for each season. eFootball will be released in 2021, but a date has not yet been set.
