Florida experiences outbreak of new Covid-19 cases | Globalism

The state of Florida in the United States is experiencing an outbreak of new cases of Covid-19. There were just 46,000 new diagnoses this Friday (6), according to The New York Times. Florida is the epicenter of Covid-19 in the United States and is experiencing its worst moment since the start of the pandemic, with large numbers of new cases as well as hospitalizations.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis refuses to take measures to encourage the use of masks. On Friday, he even signed a document banning schools from limiting the use of masks to students and teachers.

The entry of Covid-19 in Florida affects children. However, the Covid-19 vaccine is only being released in the United States for those over 12 years old. This reinforces the importance of using the mask.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), all 50 states in the United States are currently seeing an increase in new Covid-19 cases.

Companies and universities are demanding that their employees and students be vaccinated. Public servants should also be required to vaccinate. The delta variant, the most convertible, caused serious concerns.

Measures against Covid-19

One of the main forms of contamination with the new coronavirus is air transmission. Therefore, certain measures are necessary to avoid the risk of inhaling small particles present in the air.

Health authorities recommend the following:

  • Use high-quality masks that fit the face (such as those in Model PFF2 / N95)
  • Avoid enclosed or poorly ventilated places
  • Make social distancing
  • Taking two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine
