Balance Eletrobras (ELET3) recorded a net profit of R$ 2.5 billion in the second quarter of this year, an increase of 439% over the same period in 2020.
The recurring net income, of R$4.5 billion, was 601% higher than the result obtained in the second quarter of 2020. The results are presented today (11).

Investments
In the field of power generation, investments amounted to R$ 483 million, of which R$ 154 million is in maintenance and R$ 329 million is under implementation.
Of this total, R$ 250 million was allocated to Angra 3. In transmission, R$ 277 million were invested, of which R$ 213 million was allocated to reinforcements and improvements.
