Starting on Wednesday (14) and continuing until September 16, the 6th Mathematics Education Fair and the 5th Science and Technology Fair organized by the Municipal Education Department, in Parque de Eventos, with the aim of socializing on activities and projects with the community. It was developed in the classroom by students and teachers.
150 works will be shown covering all school units of the municipal education network, as well as representing other networks in the municipality and the region. Approximately 3,600 students from 61 school units participate, including exhibitors and project participants.
The event is open for public visits during the three days and is expected to receive approximately five thousand visitors. “It is a time of exchange and a lot of learning between students and teachers, considering that it is also a rich occasion to interact with the community,” notes the Minister of Education, Ivana Atanasio Dias.
“The work developed by the fairs was very relevant to the educational system in several aspects, such as social inclusion, training of principals, different learning environments, and improving the quality of national educational indicators, among others,” he adds.
Exhibits socialize successful pedagogical practices and encourage teachers to develop projects with students, showing them the importance of working with this methodology, the importance of interdisciplinary, scientific initiation and practical application of the contents in real everyday situations.
