Corinthians start the week with a focus on Flamengo and Santos, respectively, opponents on Wednesday, in Rio de Janeiro, and on Saturday, at the New Coimica Arena. This week should mark Willian’s return to the lawns.
The technical committee anticipates that the number 10 jersey will be able to serve as a start against the contender from Baixada this weekend. There is still a slight chance that he will be included in the duel in Rio de Janeiro to remain on the bench and, who knows, enter a few minutes.
Willian suffered a grade 2 injury to the hamstring muscle of his left thigh against Fluminense on October 13 last, Exactly 33 days ago. Since then, the midfielder has been under the care of doctors, physiotherapists and physical trainers.
