Colombia rejects US proposal to supply Ukraine with Russian military equipment

Sputnik – Colombian President Gustavo Pedro revealed on Tuesday (24) that Colombia had rejected a request from the United States to allow his country to send Russian military equipment to Ukraine.

“From the United States they asked us to hand it over to Ukraine, and I told them that the Colombian constitution dictates peace,” the president said at a press conference in the framework of the 7th Summit of Heads of State of the Latin Community. Latin American countries remain neutral on the Ukrainian conflict.
