The PlayStation 5 version of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 disc does not include the game and appears to only include data with instructions to begin downloading the digital version and installing 152 GB on console storage.
According to MP1st, reports are starting to emerge from several players who managed to get the physical version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 previously, but found that the physical disk only contains about 70MB of data.
When you get it into the PS5, you start downloading the game and the launch update, which is mandatory to play on servers and access the online modes, which take up about 40GB and bring the total size of Call of Duty: Modern to about 152GB for Warfare 2 on PS5.
At the moment we still don’t have any reports about the Xbox release, but it is very likely the same situation and we will update the news when we have this information.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is available tomorrow, October 28.
