Today, BMW announced a new attraction at its plant located in Arraquari (SC). The space is now open to the public as a tourist attraction in the area, with the new visit program called “Inside the BMW Group”.

Tickets can be purchased from the brand’s website, with the tour open to the public from early October. Until then, the German automaker will provide visits to employees’ families.
“We even plan to receive customers by helicopter,” says Adonai Filho, Director of Serra Verde. “It will be possible to choose the option that best suits each individual’s pockets, and to personalize the experience.”
BMW Plant Director, Otávio Rodacoswiski emphasizes the social interest in the project. He said, “We thought of providing this service for children over 10 years old and teens. In our area, many students drop out of high school, so we want young people to see what has been done here. To continue their studies.”
The visit is represented by a guided explanation of passing through some sectors of the production line. Since there is a schedule at the factory each day, depending on the date chosen, the customer can follow how the Series 3, X1, X3 or X4 models are made.
In addition, the dealership will offer the customer a factory visit immediately after the car is sold, which provides the possibility for the owner to continue the production of his own car.
Visitors will also have the right to test drive on the factory’s indoor track alongside a dedicated driver, as well as pose for a photo with the first car produced at the Brazilian factory, the Series 3 Convertible in the center of the factory that bears the signature of everyone involved in the development of the car.
The basic value of the ticket is 190 BRL, but it can vary with additional values. Business hours will be Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, from 9am or 2pm, with a visit by appointment.
