Event promoter Alisenha Cavalcante passed away on Monday (2) at the age of 58 in Sao Paulo. The information was confirmed by friends Astrid Fontenelle and Marilia Gabriella.

In 2017, Allicinha was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a rare disease. Since the diagnosis, she has been kept away from activities and received medical assistance at home.

On Instagram, Astrid paid tribute to Alicinha. “Today I lost my most naughty and delicious friend. A strong woman. A loving woman. He fought bravely against a disease whose name I still don’t know. Alicinha Cavalcante was born in November 1962 and was one of the most famous promoters in Brazil. The family came from Ceará, but she was born in São José do Rio Preto (SP). Still in his teens, he always went to Rio de Janeiro.

The event organizer began her career at the age of twenty, in 1983, at the Gallery Nightclub, in São Paulo. The peak of success was in the 90s, when organizing a party with her was synonymous with success.

Alicenha told interviews in the early 2000s that she has a list of over 17,000 famous names.
