Abercrombie & Fitch expands UK delivery service

Abercrombie & Fitch expands UK delivery service

Abercrombie & Fitch has expanded its one-day delivery service to most of its UK stores, including more than 30 Abercrombie & Fitch, Abercrombie Kids and Hollister locations. This follows the introduction of the one-day delivery option in the United States in October 2021.

Fashion retailer Stuart, in partnership with Coffer and software provider Delivery Solutions, has improved its fulfillment capabilities, allowing customers with certain zip codes to pick up goods from their stores in a single day.

The move means UK shoppers can now now buy full-size clothing available at their local stores for one-day delivery using the websites and mobile apps of Abercrombie & Fitch, Abercrombie Kids, Hollister, Social Tourist and Gilli Hicks.

Each brand’s website has a “Get It Fast” filter, which allows buyers to easily find available items using the fill option or the option of one-day delivery for items available at checkout.

Once the delivery is made on the same day, customers will receive text tracking updates to determine exactly when the order will arrive.

The fashion retailer says the initiative is part of its ongoing journey to transform its supply chain and provide customers with the ability to better meet their shopping needs and preferences.

The one-day delivery service adds another option to the retailer’s omniscient service portfolio, including online purchases, curbside pick-up, in-store booking, in-store shipping and traditional home delivery.

“Delivery on the same day supports our goals of serving our customers where they are and how to deliver our products when they want them. Providing extra momentum has resonated with US customers, especially those in high-density markets, since we introduced it last fall, ”said Larry Grischow, Abercrombie & Fitch’s Vice President, Supply Chain and Purchasing.

According to the executive, this has given the brand hope to expand its offer in the UK, considering the need for faster delivery options. “We look forward to partnering with Stuart, Gophr and Delivery Solutions to support our goal of providing an exceptional service experience for our UK customers.”
