The West Point Area Historical Society will host a program entitled “HISTORICAL ROOTS GROW NATIVE PLANT GARDENS” on Saturday May 2, 2009 at the West Point Town Hall. This program will be presented by Molly Fifield-Murray , a frequent guest on Wisconsin Public Radio’s program, GardenTalk.

Molly Fifield-Murray has an undergraduate degree in social studies education and a Masters in Landscape Architecture with an emphasis on native plant restoration. She is a frequent guest on Wisconsin Public Radio’s program, GardenTalk.
A designer of native plant gardens for homeowners, businesses, parks and roadsides, Ms. Fifield-Murray also teaches seminars about gardening with native plants and specialty gardening such as rain gardens, gardening for butterflies and birds and using native woody plants.
