Lodi Valley News serving Lodi, WI & the Lake Wisconsin area with local information since Earth Day 2008.

Last Saturday while Sarah Palin was whipping up a frenzied crowd of an estimated 500 imported Tea Party members for sixteen minutes on the Capitol square, Governor Scott Walker was dedicating a bridge over the Wisconsin River from a nearby rest area/toilet facility off Interstate 90-94/39.

With maybe several dozen semi-confused onlookers, re-leaved travelers and uniformed Revolutionary War costumed folks in attendance, Walker dedicated the Wisconsin River Bridge as the renamed “Veterans of the Revolution Memorial Bridge”. Walker’s predecessor former Governor Jim Doyle signed the bill for this renaming and dedication back in 2008.

Sarah Palin or Governor Walker could not be reached for comment.
