What’cha doing on Thursday night? Stop in the Lodi Public Library at 6:30 pm every Thursday night this summer for a series of art and book events just for ADULTS at the Lodi Public Library.

“Master the Art of Reading”

Starting this week – June 4 – we’ll kick things off with some fun conversation about books and art. Then we’ll show a short, rather funny documentary on art authentication that features the paintings of Jackson Pollock. And we won’t be too serious – the conversation during and after this film should be fun!

The Lodi Public Library is putting on this Thursday night series in partnership with New Discoveries Art & Frame and the Mill Street Studio. We’re excited to be working with Katy Helmer and Dorothea Johnson on this – some weeks we’ll be bringing great local artists in to talk, we’ll talk about all kinds of books, and just get together with other people who love books and art. What are you reading right now? What is everybody else reading? Come and find out!

Please put these Thursday night programs on your calendar – and come once, or come every week. We’ll have something different to offer each week.

For more information on any week’s events or to find out more, please stop in the library or phone 592-4130.
