Community support sets the foundation

Seeds are planted in green houses, posters are designed, brochures are being printed, and special surprises are planned for the 28 Lodi Valley Farmers’ Markets beginning on Friday, April 23rd in the market park at Northern Edge.

A decade of a successful small town farmers’ markets is a great accomplishment which could not have happened without long term good will and financial support.  The foundation of community involvement makes this 10th anniversary a season to be celebrated.

We could not start the 10th season without the generosity of:

❖            Friends of Scenic Lodi Valley

❖            Town of Lodi

❖            Lodi Food Pantry

❖            Lodi Enterprise

❖            Lodi Utilities and WPPI Energy

❖            Lodi Valley Quilter’s Guild

❖            L.O. D. I. (Lodi area Opportunity & Development Incorporated)

❖            Barbara Moericke, CMT & Associates

The fame of the Lodi Valley Farmers’ Market has spread beyond area.  Gordon Flesch Company has donated a photo copier to the market to assist us in spreading the word.  Good news travels far.

Our thanks to our initial supporters who make this market season possible!  Local foods, bedding plants, and handmade crafts are being prepared for you.  Stay tuned for details as year 10 unfolds.
