This week’s at the Lodi Public Library, we continue our summer library program for adults, “Master the Art of Reading.”

This week’s presentation will be:

Lodi artist Martje Van Ness
starting at 6:30 pm
Thursday, June 11
at the Lodi Public Library

Hope you can attend!

Please mark these regular Thursday evening adult events on your calendar and stop in when you can. It’s casual, fun, and a low-stress way to get to know other art & book lovers in the Lodi area.

Upcoming Thursday night themes:
Thursday, June 18, 6:30 pm – calligraphy and the art form of words and letters
Thursday, June 25, 6:30 pm – Kristine Millard will present an adult program about children’s books. Discover some of the really great things you may be missing from the juvenile collection!
Thursday, July 2, 6:30 pm – we’ll be honoring Lodi’s Art in the Park with a garden art themed program, including craft project ideas for grown-ups!
Also, author Jane Kirkpatrick will be coming to visit and speak on Wednesday, July 15 at 7 pm at the Lodi Public Library. Jane writes award-winning fiction and nonfiction books  … and although she lives in Oregon state now – she grew up in Wisconsin! This is a program you just can’t miss.
