Are you burned out on reading the “same old” thing? Looking for something new & different? Stop in the Lodi Public Library at 7 pm on Thursday, April 15 when co-directors Kristine Millard and Trish Priewe will show off some great books you may have missed.
“One of the best parts of our job is to select new books,” said Millard. “Even though I place the book orders, it’s still like Christmas for me every time a new box arrives.”
Lodi readers are pretty savvy about reading the bestsellers lists and keeping up-to-date on what’s really hot in the book world, Priewe said. “But there are so many more good books that just never reach the top ten lists – and those are the books we thought we’d talk about in this program.”
The pair will discuss books for all ages – picture books, readers, adult books, and teen novels. For more information, visit www.lodipubliclibrary.org.
