On December 21st and December 24th 2012, according to public records, Lodi Wisconsin  police responded to complaints of a 96 inch “Male Appendage” ice sculpture that was erected in the 600 block of Meadow View Lane. The police asked on the 21st and advised on the 24th, the home-owner to take down the “Sculpture”.  As of this posting it is not not known if  the sculpture known as “Peter” was returned to a more flaccid profile. Residents that have chosen to remain anonymous were over heard discussing whether or not if the ice sculpture had been indeed named “Art”  would have the home-owner’s first amendment rights been violated.

We did this over 20 years ago in Livingston WI right next to the bank. When the bank opened Monday morning they called my friends dad and said are you aware of the snow structure built in your yard, (it was on other side of the garage so he had not been outside to see it) he said no, they said well it is kind of obscene so he went out knocked it down with a shovel. Was fun that weekend though as people were coming from surrounding towns to see it and take pictures of it!
