On Friday August 3oth, Lodi High School opened its football season against McFarland High School. Lodi lost in a defensive struggle 7-0. Gary N-Ski shot some video footage of the game and the inclement weather that created an hour-long rain delay.

First off, I did check with Public Health Officials and yes! the H1N1 (Swine flu) virus does only live for up to 2 hours on surfaces other than a human body. So this means continue to wash hands for 30 seconds or hand sanitizer is the absence of soap and water. Clean those commonly used surfaces between uses if less than 2 hours. No need to worry about surfaces 2 hours after students have left the building. Read more »

Students in Lodi Elementary and Lodi Area Middle School were the beneficiaries of lessons in Thai culture through the visits of Dr. Pikul Leosiripong and Ms. Garunyawun Kainoonsingha. They visited Lodi schools through the Fulbright program. In addition to classroom visits they enjoyed an afternoon “Sock Hop” at Lodi Primary School on Friday.  Our visitors were pleased and surprised to find that Lodi teachers had prepared students to greet them in the traditional Thai manner and using the Thai language.  Read more »
