3RD ANNUAL DEVILS LAKE/GIBRALTAR ROCK HIKE, APRIL 29TH

Dude @ Devils Lake

Mark your calendar for the third annual saunter, this time starting at
Devils Lake State Park and ending at Gibraltar Rock, a distance of about
12 miles, through some of the most beautiful and unique terrain in
southern Wisconsin.

Meet at the Devils Lake South Shore picnic area parking lot at 9:00 am
on Sunday, April 29th.

From there we will walk up the Balanced Rock Trail, continue along the
East Bluff Trail, descend on the Ice Age Trail, cross Roznos Meadow,
continue on the Ice Age Trail through the Riverland Conservancy, across
the Wisconsin River on the Merrimac Ferry, continuing on the Gibraltar
Segment to Slack Hill Road. Those who wish to can continue on to
Gibraltar Rock.  Cars will be waiting at the Slack Hill Road parking lot
to shuttle drivers back to Devils Lake State Park.

Please dress appropriately for hiking and the weather.  Bring lots of
water and a snack/lunch.
